Healthy Skin with Neutrogena

Working with Neutrogena and trying out their Healthy Skin cosmetics line has been an incredible way to begin 2018.  I am big on resolutions and fresh starts, so this is one of my favorite times of the year. I'm also a big fan of self-care and the skin is where any beautiful makeup look begins. I've determined that I am so much more productive once I have sat down and given myself a wake-up-call with at least some of the healthy skin line foundation and concealers (and a good cup of coffee, of course). Along with that, a touch of healthy lengths mascara. Just curling up my lashes helps me to get my day going.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Collection

I was more than excited to try these out, as I've been a fan of the Neutrogena brand for as long as I can remember. Pretty sure it was in my teen years that their ambassador was none other than Mandy Moore, who was one of my favorite musician/actresses. She seemed so relatable and I always adored her radiant makeup looks.

Testing testing...

I loved the results I got from using the healthy skin primer. It provided a soft and smooth base that felt so lightweight. For a fresh-faced look, the healthy skin liquid makeup was a perfect option. It offered a radiant and healthy finish and helps to even out my skintone overall. It's pretty cool to know that Neutrogena is the #1 dermatologist recommended brand & contains good-for-your-skin antioxidants and protective SPF.

Using Neutrogena Brightening Eye Perfector in Light 10
The combination of using the undereye brightening perfector, along with the hydro boost concealer helped me combat and correct my dark undereye circles (I've had these since about 13 years old...anyone else?) I love when a product can look natural, but still brings enough coverage that I look rested!

In love with @marcbeauty Air Blush

I was lucky enough to try out this beautiful new #AIRBLUSH from Marc Jacobs beauty.

This was sent to me to test and try out by Influenster - I was thrilled to participate, as I had just joined as a member the week before. The shade I received was Kink & Kisses, which is described as "pale petal / peachy rose". I love these shades to compliment my fair skin and help to create a beautiful, peachy-pink glowing cheek.

One of the features of this product is the ability to use the blush in a draping method. I was excited to try this method out, as I had seen a new video from Wayne Goss on YouTube, showing how to do it. Fun as it was, this is basically shaping out your cheek contour with your blush shade. Nothing too complicated and definitely something different!

Something that I love about this is the soft, luxurious feel of this powder! It honestly feels like silk fabric and lays down the pigment in such a soft way. You can build up the pigment very easily and create such an amazing, flushed cheek.

You can see that I don't always go for a classic or subtle makeup look! I love that this blush adds a gorgeous, radiant color and can compliment something a little more wild.

Here is a shot of using the blush with slightly more natural makeup, using the draping method to compliment the look.

Hopefully you will check out these blushes for yourself. There are 5 different shades and something perfect for everyone.

I received this product complimentary of Influenster for testing and review purposes. All thoughts  on this are my own.

Thanks for taking a minute to read my blogpost!

DIY • Toning Blonde hair from brassy to platinum at home

Here is a little DIY Tutorial on toning blonde hair at home. Almost every time I bleach my roots, I get a very brassy / yellow / orange toned result. These products help me tone to a platinum shade and get rid of all of that brassiness. I hope to re-shoot this video with more detail and better quality view soon. Hope it can help someone out there!
